Title: This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land: Engaging Story to Protect Landscape
Description: Centering on landscape narrative and community stories as a way to build consensus, this session brings together diverse participants including practitioners of historic preservation, public history, cultural and land conservation, community urban farming, and heritage and ecotourism. In addition to updates on the MHT easement program and Preservation Maryland initiatives, participants will elucidate how dialogue about the landscape and among those invested in protecting the landscape can serve to crystallize mutually beneficial strategies, align funding streams and enable meaningful integrated action.
